About the pastor

To partially introduce myself

_ I usually am addressed by the name “Tim”. My full name is Timothy C. Farmer.
_ I am privileged to be a lowly mortal priest before the Almighty GOD, and to do the things of a priest.
_ I am ordained a Christian Minister, by a nondenominational protestant sort of evangelist or missionary type church (started by traveling preachers). And I hold a Doctor of Ministerial Studies degree of education. I also hold a healthcare management degree, and several occupational diplomas and certifications. I mentor, console, and occasionally perform ceremonies. I do not currently have a regular church related employment, but I sometimes volunteer my time to other ministries, and I am open to offers of employment, contract, or similar arrangements. I am the founding pastor of The Ancient Baptist Mission where I voluntarily work part time and am always on call.
_ I reside near the town of Covington, in the state of Georgia, of the United States of America.
_I can be contacted at 1-404-861-5371  and  revtimothycfarmer@theancientbaptistmission.org
_ I was raised and educated as a Baptist. But during periods of my adult lifetime, I’ve regularly attended and visited various other churches. Lived with and worked with people of various beliefs.
_ I was first ordained to minister in 1977, when doing study and prayer groups as a street minister would do. But the particular church faded away a few years later, I have since worked in various occupations and acquired various sorts of schooling, mainly in fields of construction, insurance, safety, and mechanics. I was again called to minister a few years ago, and was then again ordained by an existing church body in September of 2013.
__ I currently accept gifts of cash, checks, or materials by mail or in person, or donations through PayPal.                     NOTICE: The Ancient Baptist Mission LLC is organized and registered as a religious organization (a church group), but does not have a tax-exempt status, so a donation is not guaranteed to be deductible from your taxes
_ I am a Notary Public in the state of Georgia.
I am not an attorney at law so I therefore do not offer legal advice, and I do not advise matters of immigration.
_ I am an emergency medical technician and I teach healthcare educational programs. But I am not a medical doctor type of physician.
__ I will accept gifts as a minister, but I do not charge a fee for counseling and usually not for teaching. In most cases I will be willing provide an affidavit or testimony that I have rendered these services.
_For example! Before I would perform a marriage ceremony, I will first ask several questions to decide if I’m willing to perform the ceremony. Secondly! If you listen to a bit of my preaching and talk with me about your ideas of marriage for a day (there is a requirement of particular topics that must be discussed), it can be said that you have had premarital counseling, for which I will supply an affidavit. I will not perform a same sex marriage ceremony. And I will not witness in favor of a domestic relationship which is a form of homosexuality or slavery.
_Being that I am not a psychologist or social worker, but rather a minister of the Word of God, I pray to God and reference the knowledge within the Holy Bible which contains the God given laws for people to live by, the teachings of our Christ, and many stories of examples and reasoning for us to consider when managing our lives. In addition to considering the ways or doings of our present society and its government.
_If you wish to be baptized, partake of Holy Communion, dedicate a baby to be raised as a Christian, or other ceremony. I generally only need for you to confess that you are Christian and understand the meaning of the ceremony. There are no knowledge tests or church attendance requirements, no reference checks or social status inquiries. But I do not currently have open access to a convenient baptistery. We may have to go down to the river, or maybe use a trough.
